Incident Summary:

11/07/2012: A car bomb detonated near the parliamentary buildings in Mogadishu city, Banaadir region, Somalia. The car was parked in a parking lot used by lawmakers during sessions of parliament; however, no parliamentarians were in the lot at the time of the explosion. A soldier was killed and at least three civilians were injured in the blast; several cars were also damaged. Al-Shabaab is believed to be responsible for the incident.
