11/03/2012: Assailants kidnapped two German nationals in the Teorama municipality of Norte de Santander, Colombia. The victims were released on March 8, 2013. The National Liberation Army of Colombia (ELN) claimed responsibility for the kidnapping, stating that the Germans were targeted for being suspected intelligence agents.
