10/22/2012: Assailants attacked a joint police and military patrol in the Geneva area of Obe district, Herat province, Afghanistan. At least 10 Afghan security personnel and three assailants were killed and eight officers were injured in the clash. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
