10/19/2012: Assailants opened fire on a Turkish army convoy driving between Van and Hakkari provinces in Turkey. Three soldiers were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed it to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
