10/17/2012: Assailants kidnapped six elementary school teachers from Igdir village, Igdir province, Turkey. All six teachers were released one hour after they were kidnapped. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, authorities attributed it to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
