Incident Summary:

10/17/2012: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle near a joint Afghan National Army (ANA) and North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) base in Zurmat district, Paktia province, Afghanistan. There were no reported deaths; however, 10 ANA soldiers were injured by the blast. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
