Incident Summary:

10/16/2012: Assailants opened fire on a United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) patrol responding to a previous attack in Buganza village, North Kivu province, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Six Indian soldiers and one interpreter were injured in the attack. This was one of two related attacks in Buganza on this day. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, authorities attributed it to the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Rwanda (FDLR).
