10/14/2012: An explosive device was discovered following a tip in Skaikhan village, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan. When authorities arrived to investigate the device, assailants opened fire on the security team. A Frontier Corps (FC) soldier and five assailants were killed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
