Incident Summary:

10/08/2012: A suicide bomber drove an explosives-laden vehicle into the National Directorate of Security (NDS) building in Lashkar Gah city, Helmand province, Afghanistan. Two intelligence officials and a police officer were killed and 15 others injured in the blast. This was one of two attacks in the area on this date; this first blast was designed to attract first responders. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
