Incident Summary:

09/12/2012: Two suicide bombers detonated their explosives at the entrance of the Jazeera Palace Hotel, where the newly elected president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud was holding meetings, in Mogadishu city, Banaadir region, Somalia. Eight people, including both bombers and several soldiers, died, and two people were injured in the blast. Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the incident.
