Incident Summary:

08/29/2012: A roadside bomb detonated, targeting the convoy of Brigadier General Sarhad Qader in Riyadh subdistrict, Kirkuk, Iraq. Qader, the head of the Kirkuk District Police Department (KDPD), escaped unharmed; however, three Iraqi police officers were killed and three more injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
