Incident Summary:

08/27/2012: A suicide bomber in an explosives-laden vehicle attacked the convoy of Colonel Mohammad Ahmed Suliman in Mosul city, Nineveh governorate, Iraq. Suliman, a lieutenant colonel for the Tal Afar Police Department and the joint coordination center commander, two of his bodyguards, and two police officers were injured in the blast, and at least two civilians were killed. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
