08/22/2012: Assailants detonated a grenade and opened fire on Imomnazar Imomnazarov at his residence in Khorog town, Shughnon district, Gorno-Badakhshan autonomous province, Tajikistan. Imomnazarov, a former Tajik opposition commander, was killed in the assault. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
