Incident Summary:

08/21/2012: Assailants fired two rockets at Bagram Air Base in Kabul city, Kabul province, Afghanistan. Two people were injured and a C-17 transport plane and a helicopter damaged in the attack. The C-17 transport plane was scheduled to be used by General Martin Dempsey, the chair of the United States Joint Chiefs of Staff. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
