08/20/2012: Assailants kidnapped two United Nations/African Union Mission in Darfur (UNAMID) peacekeepers in Kabkabiya town, North Darfur state, Sudan. The victims, two Jordanian police officers, were released on January 2, 2013. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
