08/18/2012: An explosive device attached to a vehicle detonated in Lashkar Gah city, Gereshk district, Helmand province, Afghanistan. The owner of the vehicle, the chief of the Gereshk prison, was killed in the blast, along with two police officers and one civilian. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
