08/14/2012: Assailants detonated an explosive device targeting an electric pylon near Tibu town, Norte de Santander department, Colombia. The pylon was not destroyed, and electricity service was uninterrupted. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed it to the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC).
