Incident Summary:

08/11/2012: Assailants attacked the Akkakhel Peace Committee's compound in Meelwat area, Bara tehsil, Federally Administered Tribal Areas, Pakistan. Three peace committee volunteers were killed in the attack. Additionally, one peace volunteer was kidnapped. There is no information available with regards to an outcome for the kidnapping. Lashkar-e-Islam (Pakistan) claimed responsibility for this incident.
