Incident Summary:
08/09/2012: An explosive device planted in a wall of the Qureishi Welfare Trust Hospital exploded in Scheme Chowk area, Peshawar city, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan. There were no reported injuries; however, the blast damaged a house and a building that housed a clinic and a charity associated with Bazidkhel Qaumi Lashkar, an anti-Taliban organization. No group claimed responsibility for this incident.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.

Success is not judged in terms of the larger goals of the perpetrators.
