Incident Summary:

08/09/2012: An emergency response vehicle that was responding to the site of an attack on a military bus struck a roadside bomb in Foca town, Foca district, Izmir province, Turkey. No casualties were reported, but the vehicle was damaged. This was one of two related attacks in Foca on this date. The Kurdistan Freedom Hawks (TAK), a group affiliated with the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), claimed responsibility for the attack.
