08/07/2012: Assailants kidnapped Raiman Singh in Jholaro, Gariaband district, Chhattisgarh, India. Singh, a teacher, was killed and his body was discovered dumped on a road on August 14, 2012. Maoists claimed responsibility for the attack and stated that they believed the victim was a police informant.
