Incident Summary:

08/06/2012: An explosive device targeting a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Mine Protected Vehicle (MPV) detonated in Marande Village, Dantewada district, Chhattisgarh state, India. One CRPF trooper was killed and five others wounded in this attack. No group claimed responsibility for this incident; however, police officials attributed it to Maoists.
