Incident Summary:

08/02/2012: Eight explosive devices were discovered by Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) members in Taal area, Panki village, Palamu district, Jharkhand state, India. As CRPF forces were defusing the devices, assailants opened fire on them. At least one CRPF officer was injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, authorities attributed it to Maoists.
