Incident Summary:

07/28/2012: Assailants opened fire on Amrun Samoh as he was traveling on his motorcycle in Ban Yabah village, Ruseo township, Ruseo district, Narathiwat province, Thailand. Samoh, the assistant head of Ban Yabah village, was seriously injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, police officials attributed it to separatists.
