Incident Summary:

07/26/2012: Assailants attacked Datu Libontos Ansabu at his residence in Sitio Kiapat area, North Cotabato province, Philippines. Ansabu, the leader of the Lumad tribe, was shot to death after being tortured by the assailants. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, police attributed it to the New People's Army (NPA).
