Incident Summary:

07/22/2012: Assailants shot civilian contractors working for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) in Herat city, Herat province, Afghanistan. The assailant was wearing an Afghan security forces uniform. Three civilian workers, including at least two United States citizens, died in the shooting. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
