07/13/2012: An explosive device detonated in Mehtar Lam city, Laghman province, Afghanistan. The device had been stuck to the car of Hanifa Sapi, the head of the provincial department of women's affairs. She and her husband died in the blast, and 11 other people sustained injuries. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
