Incident Summary:

07/09/2012: An explosive device detonated near the tomb of a seventh century commander at a mosque in Derna city, Derna district, Libya. The tomb of Commander Zuhayr Ibn Qais Al-Balawi, who helped bring Islam to North Africa, was damaged in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the attack; however, locals suspected Muslim fundamentalists.
