06/27/2012: Assailants attacked a security checkpoint in Barawal tehsil, Upper Dir district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan. At least seven assailants were killed and three others injured in the clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed it to Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
