06/09/2012: Explosive devices detonated at the Bai Hassan oil field in Sargaran town, Kirkuk, Iraq. There were no reported casualties in the blasts, although the pipeline was damaged. This was one of three incidents at the oil field on the same day. No group claimed responsibility for the attacks.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.

Successful Attack
Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
