Incident Summary:

05/30/2012: An explosive device detonated while security forces were attempting to remove a body near it in Galkayo town, Mudug region, Somalia. Earlier that day, police had shot at two men who sped through a police checkpoint, killing one. When police attempted to remove his body, an explosive device he was carrying detonated, killing three officers and injuring five people, including civilians. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
