Incident Summary:

05/17/2012: A roadside bomb exploded near the home of Azis Sangkala, the chairman of the Prosperous Justice Party Faction, in Amahai town, Maluku province, Indonesia. Sangkala was not injured, but the building was damaged in the blast. This was one of three explosive devices targeting political figures on this day. No group claimed responsibility for the attack. Officials suspected the incidents were carried out to protest upcoming elections.
