05/16/2012: Assailants detonated a landmine and then opened fire on police in Chindgarh village, Sukma district, Chhattisgarh state, India. A civilian was killed in the blast, and eight police officers were injured. No group claimed responsibility; however, a police spokesperson attributed the attack to Maoists.
