05/14/2012: An explosive device detonated at a park in front of the education department in Khost City, Khost province, Afghanistan. Five people, including three Afghan National Police (ANP) officers, were injured in the blast. This was one of two coordinated attacks; the second explosion targeted a crowd drawn by the first. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
