Incident Summary:

05/11/2012: An Afghan soldier opened fire on North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) soldiers in the Bagram military base in Parwan province, Afghanistan. One United States (US) soldier was killed and two injured in the attack. The gunman gave an interview with the Afghan Islamic Press stating that he had joined the police with the intention of killing NATO soldiers and had coordinated the attack with Taliban.
