Incident Summary:

05/03/2012: Six gunmen opened fire on a vehicle carrying a local official, Sangworn Suwanratch, and his three deputies in Sai Buri district, Pattani province, Thailand. All four officials were killed in the shooting. The assailants also stole $9,267 (USD) from the victims. No group claimed responsibility for the attack; however, police suspected separatists.
