04/07/2012: Assailants attacked an army patrol with explosives in Choco department, Colombia. Six soldiers and three assailants were killed in the attack, and two other assailants were wounded. No group claimed responsibility for this incident; however, military authorities attributed it to the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC).
