03/20/2012: Assailants set fire to a bank in Tudun Wada area, Kano state, Nigeria. This was one of three related attacks in this area on this day, across which nine attackers were killed. No group claimed responsibility for this incident; however, sources attributed the it to Boko Haram.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
Criterion 2
There must be evidence of an intention to coerce, intimidate, or convey some other message to a larger audience (or audiences) than the immediate victims.
