Incident Summary:

03/05/2012: Assailants killed former police commander Colonel Mohammed Hussein and abducted and subsequently killed one of his bodyguards in Haditha city, Al Anbar governorate, Iraq. This was one of four attacks against police targets in the city on this day, during which 32 people, including assailants, were killed. Al-Qa'ida in Iraq (AQI) claimed responsibility for the incidents.
