01/26/2012: A remote-controlled roadside bomb exploded in Ra-ngae district, Narathiwat province, Thailand. The explosive device targeted Suppawarit Petchkarn, the district police chief. Although Petchkarn's vehicle was damaged in the blast, there were no injuries in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
