Incident Summary:

01/26/2012: A bus of 49 Iranian pilgrims was stopped by armed assailants near Halab area, Aleppo governorate, Syria. Eleven people on the bus were kidnapped. An unknown ransom was demanded of one family. Five captives were freed on March 29, 2012. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
