01/15/2012: A remote-controlled explosive device hidden in tall grass detonated, targeting a patrol of soldiers on Yala-Betong Highway 410 near Suan Palm Market, Than To, Yala province, Thailand. Three soldiers in the patrol were injured by the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, the authorities suspected the Runda Kampalan Kecil (RKK).
