Incident Summary:
01/10/2012: Assailants attacked the Telecommunications Ministry building in Sharan city, Paktika province, Afghanistan. The attackers used rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs), rifles, and suicide vests. Three assailants died, including two suicide bombers who blew themselves up, as did seven victims. At least three people were also hurt in the attack. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.

Criteria 1
