Incident Summary:

01/09/2012: Assailants opened fire on a North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) convoy in Khormalol area, Bakwa district, Farah province, Afghanistan. Two Afghan guards were killed and two injured. Seven attackers were also killed in return fire. No group claimed responsibility for the incident, but sources attributed it to the Taliban.
