Incident Summary:
12/7/2011: A time-bomb was discovered inside a tiffin box, within an abandoned bag, under a seat on a bus in Mokkampatti Village, Madurai District, Tamil Nadu State, India. A passenger alerted the bus driver, who tossed the bomb onto the side of the road as the bus was evacuated. Police officers were able to defuse the bomb later. Two youths are suspected of planting the bomb, but are still at-large.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
