12/1/2011: In al-Jeel, Diyala, Iraq, a group of unidentified gunmen broke into three houses and opened fire. Seven people were killed and another five were wounded. At least one of the people targeted is reported to be a member of the Awakening Council. No claim of responsibility was reported.
