Incident Summary:

11/27/2011: An explosive device detonated inside a meeting room in Banadir Hospital, central Mogadishu, Benadir region, Somalia. Three people were injured, although there was no one inside the meeting room at the time of the explosion. No group claimed responsibility for the attack and specific motive is unknown; however, dignitaries and officials have visited the hospital several times in previous months to highlight the humanitarian crisis occurring in the region.
