11/24/2011: Members of the Taliban ambushed a convoy of international forces in the Mullah Khel area of Maydan Shahr, Wardag province, Afghanistan. Security for the convoy was provided by a private security company; one security guard was killed and another four were injured. In addition, the security guards' vehicle was destroyed. The specific motive behind the attack is unknown.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
Criterion 2
