11/21/2011: Suspected members of Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) opened fire on a vehicle in Nusaybin, Mardin province, Turkey. Oktay Aydogan, a sergeant major, was shot and killed in the attack and Rifat Un, a civilian officer, was wounded. Specific motive is unknown; however, the PKK had recently increased their attacks against civilians and troops.
