11/19/2011: Unidentified gunmen, equipped with a variety of weapons, opened fire on a police checkpoint in Taamim district near Ramadi city, Anbar province, Iraq. Five police officers were killed in the attack and another four were injured. Three of the assailants were killed when police returned fire. No group claimed responsibility for the incident and specific motive is unknown.
